Peter Dourdas has been in the Financial Services industry since 1984, with offices in New York City, Naples, FL, and Syracuse, NY. Among the affluent clients Peter assists on a global basis are successful professionals, business owners, executives, retirees, widows and divorcees. He provides guidance in retirement planning for individuals and companies, long-term care insurance, life and disability income insurance, annuities, college tuition funding, executive fringe benefits and business continuation planning. In addition to charitable giving strategies, he offers estate analyses and estate planning*.
"Most of my clients focus on asset accumulation during their working years," says Peter, "as well as funding a comfortable retirement, and planning for the efficient distribution of their wealth to their heirs. My business clients are concerned with succession and key employee planning, and benefits that provide incentives for recruiting and retaining quality employees. Many of my clients have an aversion to risk, so my job is to address their cash needs, help them to minimize taxes, counter inflation and help preserve and protect their wealth—a challenge that requires the careful execution and diligent monitoring of their strategies. I also help them evaluate the many new financial products and services that become available."
Peter is a graduate of Massanutten Military Academy and Deree College in Athens, Greece. He is a member of the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Endowment Fund and is an Archon to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He holds membership in the prestigious MDRT Court of the Table.
In his leisure, Peter enjoys basketball (he was a professional basketball player in Athens, Greece) weightlifting, and is also a professional skills trainer, training over 2000 basketball players annually.
